The body reveals what the mind hides

Our body isn’t just made up of bones and muscles.

It’s the physical reflection of our internal environment, thoughts and emotions.

When unprocessed emotions get trapped in the body, they manifest as physical tightness in different areas -like hunched shoulders for fear, sunken body posture from shame or a clenched jaw from anger-
Body tension is normally a sign that something needs attention.

Overtime, the tension can lead to various forms of chronic pain, discomfort and disconnection.

This becomes our “emotional baggage” which can stop us from moving forward.

By acknowledging this tension and exploring the emotions it might be linked to, we can begin to release it and achieve a more balanced state of being.

Throughout the course of these 5 weeks together, we’ll learn how to listen and reconnect with the body.

The combination of mindfulness practices with somatic movement and conscious breathing, will support you on this journey and encourage you to take an active role in your healing process.

Each week is opportunity to connect with a different emotion and notice sensations and feelings that arise within the body. Our body then becomes a conduit for our learning to decode the messages that holds and comes through it.
